Recording of Netflix Progress Prize 2008 talk

At long last we make available a recording of the BellKor in BigChaos presentation from the Netflix Progress Prize 2008 award event at the Netflix offices in Los Gatos.  We apologize for our delay in publishing this video.

The recording is divided into two segments:

* The presentation.
* The subsequent question & answer session.

Can anyone else barely hear this?  I have my volume maxed out on the flash player and my computer and it is far to quiet to hear.

You have to crank it up! When you do... perhaps you will also notice a strange correlation between the presenters' accents with last year's progress prize presentation.

Well, as I said, I have everything maxed out.  No trouble hearing anything else (YouTube, Windows sounds, etc.).

Correlation?  I see no correlation between Israeli with a tinge of northern New Jersey and Austrian with a faint hint of Graz.  But, did you notice the shoes were the same?!  smile  I think they got them from their sponsors, Setec Astronomy.
